Motherhood-Buys

I, like most mothers, love good products that work and not overpriced. There are just too many products available now for new and seasoned mothers. Sometimes we are so overwhelmed with information on social media and ecommerce sites. Do you feel the same?

Through my motherhood years, I use these products and think they are good. You can also check them out if you are interested. 🙂

  1. Nappy rash looks terrible and makes babies uncomfortable. Have a good nappy cream is a must. We apply Desitin Diaper Rash Cream whenever we changed our kids’ diapers. Used it for my 2 kids and nappy rash never happen badly for them. We had only use the blue one as we control any nappy rash in time and we don’t need the purple one. Remember to check the expiry date before any bulk purchase as each tube last for sometime!
  2. A good breast pump is a must! And to save time, I will choose electric breast pump (think sleepy nights or just want some time to catch up with messages on the phone :p ). Am a loyal fan of Medela and I used the same pump for my 2 kids who are 4 years apart. In between the years, I loaned the same pump to a friend too! Very durable and lasting for me. And, I could still resell the pump in Carousell for about $80 after owning the pump for more than 5 years!
  3. Affordable and good quality milk bags are also essentials that I spent on during those breastfeeding days. Instead of transporting heavy and bulky bottles to office to store my pumped milk, it’s so much lighter and compact to use milk bags.
  4. Always invest in having a waterproof mat to protect the mattress is a super wise choice. We usually have a few mattress cover to change but only 1 mattress for the baby to sleep on right? having a waterproof protector will always prevent the mattress from being soiled with pee/vomits.
